Inspitation and Ideas for both Versace and Jobs

These are some inspirational forms and shapes which have helped with the process of creating a office space's for both Donetella's Versace and Steve Jobs. As i'am basing the principle of "Fashion" vs "Technology" i am trying to focus on having the two offices at a completeley different spectrum to each other. Steve Jobs being the technology side of it would be a more solid form which could be a square, rectangle some form of solid shape. With the fashion side of things i was planning on creating a wavy form or sphere which is the opposite to a form like the square shape or rectangle shaped used for Steve Jobs. With incorporating this Wavy or spherical form opposite to solid form the notion of "Fashion" vs "Technology" can be incorporated and into exp. 3 and as a result become alot easier to comprehend or understand the fact that these two clients are at a totally different spectrum to one another.

One of my first ideas which i had come up with my tutor was a simple idea... very simple! But was it doable? The idea i had come up with was to create a wall out of square... basically the above showen mocaic would become the wall. What was going to be done was have each product cut up one by one in photoshop then converted to .TGA file which is supported by ut4 and could be imported as a texture. One problem came across in attempting to create this mosaic wall which was the reason i gave up in attempting to create it. This problem was when importing the converted file into a .TGA file you have to make the file equal multiples on each side of it, this means that a file will only be imported into ut if the size of it is for eg. 256 x 256 or 512 x 512. A file with the multiples of say 128 x 200 would not be accepted into ut. Now mentioning that converting the images and resising them to be of equal multiples was not a problem, though in doing so the image files them selves had been distored because they were either rectangular or they were to small and were scaled up and the image was blured. This was the problem with this idea and as a reslut in this issue arising i had given up on the idea. Would of been a very interesting environment if i had made it.
